For about a month now, I’ve been following the blog of John Chow, a dot com mogul, who is helping others to make money online by sharing his insight, tips, and tricks. I find this very generous and I’ve started to follow some of his advice and start monetizing my blog and website through implementing Kontera, Auctionads, and TextLinkAds.
Some of the changes you’ve noticed on this website have been inspired by him and his blog. So visit his website, bookmark it, and start making money online!
In addition, if you want him to link back to your website for SEO purposes and increase backlinks, you just need to review his blog!
Normally, I will try to come up with one making money idea a day. Today is an exception as it’s a new direction this blog will be taking and I need to get accustomed to writing about making money, marketing, and other topics…
As for Making Money Idea #2, it’s a simple one and many people seem to do it. Sell used and unwanted items on Ebay! Everyone has items that are used and unwanted. Take a picture, upload the digital picture to a free Picture hosting website and try to sell it. An example of this would be imageshack.us and photobucket.com
Aside from Ebay, there is also craigslist.org, Amazon Marketplace, and Half.com.
Craigslist is an excellent site for selling items that you want to sell locally.
Amazon is good for used books.
Half.com is good for music and DVD movies.
A few people will argue that you aren’t exactly making money this way as you spent money in the first place to acquire these goods and items. That is absolutely true!
However, instead of losing more money from the declining value of the good, you are recouping some of the cost, which is better than losing all of it. As a result, in my book, it’s still making money.
To bring it up a notch further, there are individuals who specialize in this full-time. I’ve met a few people who approach closing businesses and give them a lump sum and will clear out the place and sell everything in it on Ebay for a tidy profit.
There is a franchise popular in certain areas where the store will accept goods and sell them on your behalf on Ebay. They have packaging materials, the time, and the Ebay feedback rating to get things done. You may want to consider these individuals, but you’ll be giving up some of your money to them in return. You’ll have to weigh the time and money spent and decide for yourself if this is a wise path to follow.

It’s obvious. It’s what almost everyone tells someone to do when they need money. Get a job! Most jobs pay at least minimum wage. Most are tedious, boring, and most people hate it.
I have a job and I think most people have had some sort of a job. Now, the idea isn’t to get one job, but to get another job and hopefully, save the money earned from the second job.
I’ve gotten 2 jobs and while I didn’t exactly save the money, it helped me get some more valuable experience and network with potentially helpful people.
There are a lot of jobs you can get. I usually try to get jobs where I can sit on my ass and do potentially nothing. If you have a clean record, it shouldn’t be too difficult to get a security job guarding something. If that isn’t possible, becoming a waiter or delivery person are secondary options.
These can be difficult, but it’s the easiest money making idea.

I’ve been spending the last week or so uploading new Video tutorials to the main website and I am now bored silly. I’ve decided to spend a bit more time marketing the website. Currently, I’m a PageRank3 on Google. Using some online tools, I’ve discovered that my blog is the main reason I’m a PR3, so I think I should work on maintaining the blog, in addition to creating wonderful content.
One of the newest ways of increasing backlinks which is an important component of the Google Pagerank is to submit articles to Article Directories. I’ve found a few services that will accept articles. I’m not sure how much the increase will be at all, since the only way my PageRank will increase is if the article are well-written and people link to me from it….
Another way is to find blogs that will write reviews about the website. My plan at the moment is to find a few writers to review my website and write about it.
